Axie Infinity is a crypto game developed and published by Sky Mavis, a Vietnamese technology company. The game runs on the Ronin and Ethereum blockchains. In Axie Infinity you can grow, fight, collect and trade Axie creatures with other players.The main difference of Axie Infinity from other games is that you can convert your earned rewards into real crypto assets. You will need three Axies to start playing and you can start playing by purchasing them from the official Axie Infinity Market. You can play Axie Infinity on Android, Windows, macOS and iOS. The Axies you buy, collect and produce are all your NFT assets. This means you can sell Axies to other players for profit.
Axie Infinity has a high entry cost. Before you start playing, you must purchase three Axies from the game's marketplaces. Initially, the three Axes would cost around $500, but the cost of entry has tripled over time due to growing popularity.
The first step is to download the game client from the official website. Click the Play Now button while on the website and the system will prompt you to download a file and install the software on your device. You will need to select the appropriate download option depending on the device you are using.
To start playing, you must first purchase your Axies. You will need a Ronin cryptocurrency wallet for this part. After creating your Ronin wallet, you can now log in to the Axie Infinity Marketplace with the Ronin account you created.
After purchasing Axies, you can now start playing. To play, you must log into the previously downloaded game client with the Axie Infinity account you created earlier.
Axies are axolotls that live in a world called Lunacia. Each Axie has different features that distinguish it from its peers. There are different classes of Axies, each with advantages and disadvantages.
Plant: Their health is high.
Beast: Can deal a lot of damage to the enemy.
Bug: Accuracy is high.
Bird: They are the fastest Axes.
Aquatic: It is healthy and fast. Deals low damage.
Reptile: Fast and tough. It is impact resistant.
Axie Infinity has two game modes which include:
PVP Battles and PVE Adventure
Each player has 20 units of energy per day. PVP gameplay costs you one energy unit. Energy calculation should be done according to game types.
Positioning your Axie is very important. Axies are divided into three types of warriors.
Tank; is an endurance fighter that can absorb enemy damage.
Damage Dealer; deals with damage from fights.
Support; can debuff or heal himself and allies.
In Axie Infinity you earn SLP tokens. These tokens can be traded on KuCoin, Binance, FTX and Gate, io. Withdrawals occur every 14 days. Once you complete the daily quest, press the Claim button and receive 25 SLP.
PvP arena: The higher the rank, the higher the reward and the more challenging the opponents.
PvE Adventures: Each new enemy you face will be stronger than the one you defeated previously. Here you can earn a maximum of 100 SLP per 24 hours in this mode.
You can combine axies with the breeding mode. Each Axie can only breed seven times. Breed puppies can be sold on the Axie Infinity Marketplace.
